In this conversation World Bank economist and development specialist Branko Milanovic discusses the calls to action and inspiration behind his latest book, The Haves and the Have-Nots: A Brief and Idiosyncratic History of Global Inequality. Milanovic suggests that we may be past the worst period of global inequality in history global and that inequality may actually be reduced as the economic centre of gravity shifts Eastwards.
